He understands the issues that are most important to Tobique–Mactaquac: increased access to affordable and sustainable housing; a healthy local economy; and improved employment opportunities for all residents.
A business graduate of Nova Scotia Agricultural College and the Atlantic Agricultural Leadership Program, Harvey has worked with the Canadian Young Farmers’ Forum, to connect leading young agriculture producers across Canada, and to provide support and resources to promote the industry. As a member of the Agriculture Alliance of New Brunswick board of directors, he represented the interests of both English and French agriculture producers through the Federation of Agricultural Producers.
Harvey and his wife have been producing eggs as New Brunswick Egg Producers since 2010.
