Ted Falk was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Provencher in a 2013 by-election. He has been named the chair of the Conservative Party’s Manitoba caucus.
Prior to entering politics, Falk served as chair and president of the Steinbach Credit Union for more than 15 years.
He is also co-owner and president of a Diamond Construction and Gravel, a company that employs more than 75 people.
Falk sat on the Standing Committee for Public Safety and National Security and worked on the review of Bill C-51, the Conservative government’s antiterrorism legislation. His is also a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
Falk says he represents the values of the riding and will continue working for lower taxes and safer communities.
He is active in the Steinbach Mennonite Brethren Church. Falk is married and has three children and seven grandchildren.
