Sarah Hoffman is the Health Minister for Alberta.
Hoffman was elected to the legislature in the orange wave that swept Alberta’s 2015 election.
Hoffman was trained in education prior to joining politics, and holds both a M.Ed and a B.Ed from the University of Alberta.
Prior to being elected, Hoffman was a trustee with Edmonton’s public school board. She was acclaimed as board chair in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
In addition to serving as Minister of Health, Hoffman is also the Deputy Premier and the Minister of Seniors.
Hoffman’s volunteering history includes working with the Alberta Association for Multicultural Education and the Alberta Community Crime Prevention Association.
