The new MP for Calgary Rocky Ridge, Pat Kelly, has been named the Conservative Party’s deputy critic for Treasury Board.
Kelly has a degree in political science from the University of Calgary. Before running for election he worked as a mortgage broker and co-owns his own brokerage firm. He has served as president of the Alberta Mortgage Brokers’ Association twice and also sits as a member of the Real Estate Council of Alberta.
An active volunteer in his community, Kelly has been a member of the board of the Ranchlands Community Association. He has been active in the Conservative Party for more than 25 years as a volunteer and also worked on former MP Diane Ablonczy’s constituency board.
Kelly is married and has three daughters.
