Pam Damoff

Oakville North–Burlington


Pam Damoff is the newly elected Liberal MP for Oakville North–Burlington. Before running federally, Damoff served as a town councillor in Oakville for one term. Prior to that she worked on Bay Street for more than 25 years working with Mclean and McCarthy and Midland Walwyn. In 2004 she started her own business doing financial analysis.

Damoff is a vocal advocate for sustainability and preserving community green spaces. She is the co­-founder of Cycle Oakville, an effort to promote better cycling infrastructure and healthy, active lifestyles in the community. In 2013 she was the recipient of the Bicycling Leadership Award for her promotion of cycling in Ontario.

She received a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for her work in the community which includes acting as chair of the local Santa Claus parade and Terry Fox run as well as acting as an organizer for the annual Courage Polar Bear Dip. She has also received the Paul Harris Fellow Award for community service and a Top 40 Fabulous Women Over 40 Award for community leadership.

Damoff has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario.
