Michel Picard has been elected as the Liberal MP for Montarville and he has been named the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness.
Picard is an international public speaker and an expert in financial crime. He has written several books on the subject and also designed a course for Master’s students in the Université de Sherbrooke’s Faculty of Management. He also worked with the RCMP’s Integrated Market Enforcement Team. He also worked for Ernst and Young.
During the Charbonneau Commission Picard was a regular media commentator.
Picard has Master’s and Doctoral degrees in political science from l’Université de Paris X. He also has a graduate diploma in management from Université Laval. Michel holds both a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Political Science from l’Université de Paris X and a graduate diploma in Management from L’Université Laval.
