Leo Glavine

Leo Glavine is the Minister of Health and Wellness for Nova Scotia, as well as the Minister of Seniors.

He has served in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly since 2003.

Prior to entering politics, Glavine was a teacher and school administrator. He also worked as a volunteer firefighter for 15 years.

Glavine has no formal background in health, but was heavily involved in youth sports and athletics for over 30 years.

Previously, Glavine has served as Provincial Health Critic, Education Critic, Agricultural Critic and Gamic Critic, as well as Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly.
