The new MP for St. Catharines, Chris Bittle, is a lawyer by trade. In his role at Lancaster, Brooks and Welch LLP he specialized in commercial disputes, real estate litigation, defamation and landlord-tenant disputes.
He has said his priorities as a Member of Parliament are unemployment and income inequality.

In addition to his law practice, Bittle has worked as an instructor in the Department of Continuing Education at Niagara College and has led seminars at Brock University in St. Catharines.
